Market and Macro Intelligence
Generate comprehensive insights on market movements, trends, and news to inform investment decisions.
Value: Get concise summaries of market movements across multiple regions and asset classes with relevant context from central bank activities.
Example Prompt:
Provide a financial market summary for today covering the US, China, Hong Kong, and Japan. Focus on news from the Fed and Central banks, including any movements in the FX, commodities, and equity markets, along with reasons for these movements. Start with a summary of major market indices changes, including NDX, SPX, HSI, and CSI300, followed by the reasons for such changes and market sentiments.
Value: Track regional economic trends affecting specific industry sectors over time.
Example Prompt:
Let me know macroeconomic developments over the past month focusing on the luxury goods sector in the following regions: Western Europe, US, China/Hong Kong.

Example Prompt:
Create a table to detect early signs of momentum shifts in SPY, including the following metrics: price-volume action, relative strength index, and moving averages. Determine which of these companies have shown positive trends, increased volumes, and solid relative performance against the market. Then, provide a commentary analyzing companies with positive trends.
Security & Company Analysis
Perform deep dives into company financials, strategy, and market positioning to identify investment opportunities.
Value: Comprehensive financial comparison between a target company and its global and sector peers.
Example Prompt:
Find all the global peers for AMD, and then extract the following data for the target company and its peers: EV / EBITDA Ratio, Sales to EV Ratio, Price to Earnings, Revenue Growth Rate, weekly cumulative percentage change in Close Price, monthly cumulative percentage change in Close Price, and YTD cumulative percentage change in Close Price. Next, find all the peers for the target company within the same sector, and then extract the same set of data for the target company and its sector peers.
Value: Detailed evaluation of a company’s strategic position with segment breakdown and SEC filing references.
Example Prompt:
Prepare a deep dive analysis including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) for NVDA. Include a business segment breakdown by percentage revenue for each company. Compare and contrast these companies by evaluating market share, operating margins, revenue growth, profitability, recent strategic moves, and their respective strategic priorities. Additionally, compare the accounting policies of both companies and highlight any differences. Reference both SEC and SEDAR filings where applicable to support your analysis.
Value: Comprehensive overview of a private company using web search and structured output with intelligent follow-up questions.
Example Prompt:
Research the private company 1PASSWORD to provide a comprehensive overview including the company profile, management team, capital raised, strategic initiatives, customer base, competitive moat, competitive risks, company size, and number of employees. Utilize web search and news sources to gather this information and present it in bullet points. Create separate outputs for each of the mentioned headers, resulting in a total of 8 outputs. Following the analysis of all outputs, generate both first and second derivative questions. The first derivative question should be technical, professional, and reflect the inquiry of a seasoned investor, incorporating specific data points or statements. For each first derivative question, create a second derivative question that explores deeper into the underlying issues or opportunities related to that item.

Document Intelligence
Extract insights from complex financial documents, compare multiple sources, and generate concise summaries.
Value: Extract patterns and insights across multiple company filings to identify macroeconomic trends.
Example Prompt:
Read all the earnings reports for companies in S&P 500 over the past month. Identify major recurring macroeconomic patterns such as inflation, interest rate changes, and consumer spending trends. For each pattern, describe its positive and negative effects on different industries and provide specific examples of companies impacted.
Value: Extract specific financial data points from multiple regulatory filings over time.
Example Prompt:
Perform a full text search on Agilent’s 10-Q and 10-K regulatory filings over the last 8 quarters. Extract the values for Net Revenue deferred in the period and Revenue recognized that was included in the contract liability balance at the beginning of the period as part of the full text search for each filing and summarize. Then use the Text to Table Tool to create a table of the summarized text by quarter.
Notice how this prompt references both SEC filings and the “Text to Table Tool.” Alfa can access multiple regulatory filing sources and use specialized tools to format the output as needed.
Value: Detailed breakdown of an S-1 filing with focused analysis of each critical section.
Example Prompt:
Summarize the key points from the BIAF S-1 filing for each of the following sections. Example Prompt:
Look at META, find a list of 5 comparable companies in the same industry. Plot their Price to Earnings, EBITDA to EV, and Price to Sales for the past year on separate line charts. Based on the valuation multiples of comparable companies, calculate the average metric for the industry for every metric given. Compare the average metric to the current metric value for this stock. Based on this, give a target price for this stock.
Research & Idea Generation
Quickly research complex topics, screen stocks with custom criteria, and develop investment theses.

Example Prompt:
Review the past 3 years for AAPL by retrieving all earnings call summaries and 10-K and 10-Q filings. This prompt uses web search functionality to gather real-time information. You can specify other data sources like “news sources” or “earnings transcripts” depending on your needs.
Value: Identify investment opportunities based on emerging themes or technological trends.
Example Prompt:
Retrieve the list of stocks from SPY. Acquire text data on these companies. Generate a profile for companies likely to increase operations through AI growth and power consumption. Use these profiles to filter and rank the companies. Finally, produce an output titled US Companies Likely to Increase Operations Through AI Growth and Power Consumption, listing all relevant companies and a short rationale for why they are included.

Example Prompt:
Read all available text for AAPL for the last 6 months. Summarize for risks, summarize for key things to monitor, summarize for major upcoming catalysts in the next quarter, summarize key promises made, summarize any past predictions for their future performance. Now, analyze all outputs, and create both first and second derivative questions. Create a first derivative question that directly references exact items mentioned in the earnings calls or SEC filings, including specific data points or statements. Then, for each first derivative question, create a second derivative question that delves deeper into underlying issues or opportunities related to that item.
